Brand identity for a healthtech startup
Challenge
Amplitud, a rising healthtech startup using AI to support clinics across South America, came to us with a unique challenge: craft a brand that feels warm and human while still signalling cutting-edge innovation. Their mission is powerful: help clinicians automate routine tasks so they can spend doing what they do best; caring for patients. But their brand didn’t yet reflect the depth of their vision or the scale of their ambition. With a multi seven-figure investment round on the horizon, they needed a visual identity that resonated with both frontline healthcare professionals and savvy tech investors. The challenge? Balance empathy with innovation, fast.
Approach
We launched our One-Week Brand Sprint, starting with an intensive onboarding process. This gave us a deep understanding of Amplitud’s business goals, challenges, audience, and competitive landscape. Through collaborative workshops we uncovered the brand’s key positioning opportunity: a trusted ally for clinics, powered by sophisticated yet invisible AI. From there, we built a brand strategy focused on warmth, clarity, and technical credibility. We curated a human-centric colour palette, approachable yet professional typography, and a flexible design system that could scale across both clinical and investor-facing touchpoints. The tone? Friendly but focused. The aesthetic? Soft tech with purpose.
Result
The final brand system delivered exactly what Amplitud needed: a compelling, dual-purpose identity that builds trust with clinicians and confidence with investors. We provided two brand direction moodboards, a distinctive custom wordmark, a colour system that balances warmth with trust, and clear typography guidelines to ensure readability and consistency. Iconography and UI elements were designed to support their digital product roadmap, while presentation and pitch deck templates gave their team the tools to communicate their story with clarity and confidence. The updated brand has elevated Amplitud’s perception in the market positioning them as a human-first AI partner, ready to transform healthcare across Latin America.
