A Unified Refresh for a Leading Name in School Culture.
Challenge
Fizz Group, the UK's largest supplier of hoodies, approached us with an ambitious project: to refresh the branding across their three business verticals—Fizz Yearbooks, Fizz Photography, and Fizz Hoodies. Each of these brands plays a vital role in creating cherished memories for students across the country, but their visual identities needed a cohesive and modern update to reflect their shared mission. While each site served its specific audience, there was a lack of unity that made it harder for customers to recognize the Fizz name as a leader in school culture. Beyond their websites, the client also identified an opportunity to elevate their visual assets, including PDF guidance materials sent to schools.Our mission was to create a refreshed brand that tied these businesses together under one cohesive identity while maintaining their unique offerings.
Approach
We began with a comprehensive brand audit to identify the strengths of each vertical and the overlaps between them. This informed our approach to developing a unified design system that could work seamlessly across the Fizz Group's digital and physical touchpoints. The websites for Fizz Yearbooks, Fizz Photography, and Fizz Hoodies were redesigned with a shared visual language that still allowed each brand to shine individually.
Result
Impressed by the results of the website refresh, Fizz Group extended the collaboration to their wider visual assets. We reimagined their school guidance PDFs across all 3 brands, transforming them into visually engaging and user-friendly documents that aligned with the updated brand. This included crafting layouts that showcased key information while reflecting the Fizz Group’s fun and professional personality.‍Fizz Group continues to use the refreshed branding to strengthen their connection with schools across the UK.
