Warbler

Brand identity for a drone startup
Challenge
Warbler, a Canadian startup pioneering eco-friendly mosquito and blackfly control, set out to modernise an outdated industry. Using drones to distribute BTI—a naturally occurring bacteria safe for humans, animals, and pollinators, they offer golf courses and municipalities a cleaner, scalable alternative to chemical pesticides. Their challenge was to build a brand that felt innovative yet credible to decision-makers aged 45–65, while signalling their environmental mission and readiness to raise seed investment.
Approach
During our Brand Sprint, we identified a clear positioning: the premium, environmentally responsible partner for large-scale insect control. From there, we developed a visual identity balancing modern innovation with grounded trust. A sleek bird-inspired mark echoed their name and purpose, while a natural yet professional palette reinforced safety and credibility.
Result
The final brand system gave Warbler the polish and authority needed to launch confidently and attract early-stage investors. With a distinctive logo, bold typography, and photography direction built around smart technology for a cleaner world, Warbler now stands as the environmentally safe disruptor redefining insect control across Canada.
